As a Cloud/AI Platform Engineer, you will shape the future of our AI-driven cloud infrastructure and enable over 40 teams to access the latest cloud and AI technologies. You will develop and operate GenAI agents and KI platforms, advise teams on the technical implementation of innovative AI use cases, and work with state-of-the-art technologies at the forefront of the AI revolution.
Requirements
- Funded experience with the infrastructure and management of the Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Fundamental knowledge of IAM and security architecture (RBAC, Least-Privilege, Workload Identity Federation)
- Experience with GCP project structure, organization policies, and governance
- Practical experience in the areas of containerization and orchestration (CloudBuild, CloudRun, Kubernetes, Gitlab-CI, etc.)
- Knowledge in the area of infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Experience with platform engineering and SRE practices
- Fundamental knowledge in the areas of monitoring, alerting, and incident management
- Platform engineering mindset (self-service, automation, easy handling)
- Support and availability experience with production systems
- Programming and automation knowledge (Python, Bash, or similar)
- Knowledge in the selection, deployment, and operation of GenAI tools
- Practical experience with current (Gen)AI/ML platforms
- Understanding of AI governance, cost management, and security aspects
- Ability to support data science and ML engineering teams
- Safe appearance in advisory functions vis-à-vis stakeholders
- Ability to translate technical concepts for a non-technical audience
- Experience in collaboration with multiple teams and in reconciling competing priorities
- Outstanding problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
