Essential Job Functions:.
- Engage with the market to understand and analyze customer needs and requirements. This involves initial qualification and supporting the development of solutions before formal contract establishment.
- Uncover prospects' business problems and understanding their requirements to determine product-market fit. Conduct client work sessions.
- Tailor prospect-specific presentations that precisely meet the needs of prospects.
- Leverage standard and repeatable techniques to promote compliant and conforming solutions with efficiency.
- Lead solution creation and Solution Review forums that engage stakeholders in deal construction.
- Work closely with the sales team to provide guidance and support on complex deals, including deal structuring and negotiation.
- Evaluate and recommend technology solutions to address business challenges and opportunities.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define and communicate architecture strategies and roadmaps.
- Contributes to the development of best practices and standards in solution architectue.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the Customer solution team
- Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
Technical Expertise:
- Maintain a deep understanding of DXC/ISB’s products, services, and competitive landscape.
- Oversee the development of solution proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and proof-of-concept (POC) demonstrations.
Customer Engagement:
- Engage with key customers and prospects to understand their business challenges and technical requirements.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing insights and recommendations on solution architectures and deployment strategies.
- Partner with sales teams to ensure a seamless and compelling customer experience from initial engagement through to deal closure.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with Offering management and Product engineering to provide market and customer feedback, influence product roadmaps, and ensure solutions meet market needs.
- Coordinate with marketing to develop technical content, webinars, and other sales enablement materials.
- Work with post-sales teams to ensure smooth transitions and successful customer implementations.
Qualifications:
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Extensive knowledge of Micro Focus products, with specific experience in cloud-based deployments on AWS.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and experience working in cross-functional teams.
- Travel:
- Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time.
