Senior Automation Engineer

Due to continued growth DXC Technology have a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Automation Engineer to join our team in either our Erskine or Newcastle sites in a Hybrid capacity.

Due to the nature of our business successful candidates are required to be British Nationals with SC clearance or eligible for vetting.

Job Description:

Automation of multiple post build tasks such as

• Configure SLES and RHEL servers based on their environment and region.
• Set up NFS mount points, update network settings like bonding and MTU, apply kernel tuning parameters, configure user limits and mail settings.
• Check/Add users, Add SSH Keys, check disks and automate other post build tasks as required.
• Filesystem creation on free disk, creating VG and LV, adding entries to fstab

Skills/Experience Required:

Several years of experience and strong knowledge of Ansible, Python

Linux server management/Administration

Configuration on SLES/RHEL systems

This role can be hybrid from either our Erskine or Newcastle site
