Qatar onlyOur client, a world renown Media & Entertainment organization, is looking for a driven and results oriented Associate QA Engineer to join their newly formed platform engineering team. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, self-starter with experience testing state of the art mobile applications that leverage multiple backend services in a cloud environment. Responsibilities:
- Support the testing effort of an assigned project and its features
- Perform hands on manual testing of mobile/tablet/connected devices releases
- Define, create, maintain and execute test cases based on requirements and specifications
- Identify and report functional, visual, performance, cross-platform or other types of bugs and issues
- Review application builds to ensure on-time delivery and overall product quality
- Collaborate cross functionally with Product and Dev teams
- Participate in Agile ceremonies
Required Skills/Knowledge:
- 2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance
- 1+ years working with web and/or mobile apps
- Basic understanding of ALM tools such as JIRA, AzureDevops or other helpful QA/development tools
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Some familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and improve testing skills through new techniques and tools.
