About the role

  • We are in scaling phase (with start-up vibes minus the investors and debt) and are on the hunt for experienced Team Leaders to join us. With our technical team encompassing more than 50% of our whole business, the investment into the our products and our people continues.
  • We are looking for suitably qualified and proven Team Leaders who has detailed expertise in either Frontend Backend or DevOps.
  • Leading a team of 4-9 full stack engineers, you will use your technical knowledge to help kick off major product enhancements and design decisions.
  • You will promote working in collaborative environments where ideas are converted into tangible outcomes.
  • You will mentor and support your team helping them to meet and where possible, exceed expectations whilst holding them and yourself to account.
  • In return for your efforts, you will help deliver a sustainable app, where we pride ourselves on shipping high quality product, quickly. Joining us on our modernisation journey, you be a massive contributor to our long term success.

About You

  • 8+ years of software development experience.
    • Presentable achievements in work history.
  • 3+ years experience leading an engineering team.
    • Experience working with other crafts - Product Management and Design.
  • You have previously mentored or managed others, and enjoy helping junior engineers to advance their skills.
  • You deeply understand the platforms and libraries you use.
  • Your CV is full of achievements you are proud of.
  • You are concise, clear, and courteous in your communication.
  • You are curious and innovative.
  • You take calculated risks and are not afraid of failure.

Technical skills

  • C# or Java (C# preferred).
  • TypeScript/JavaScript.
  • SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres, or similar relational databases.
  • Any of the cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, Google Cloud (Azure strongly preferred).
  • Bonus: Python, R, Rust, Node.js exposure.
