Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions HU, formerly known as IT Services Hungary (ITSH), began its journey in 2006 as a subsidiary of T-Systems International, establishing its first office in Budapest. The company quickly expanded, opening its Debrecen Campus in early 2008 and reaching 1,500 employees by the end of that year. A significant milestone was achieved in July 2009 with the opening of a new office building in Tudáspark, Debrecen. By 2011, ITSH had hired its 2,000th employee, solidifying its position as the largest ICT employer in Hungary. Recognizing the importance of skilled professionals, the company established a unique academic collaboration in 2012 to enhance IT education for Hungarian students.
The company's growth and commitment to excellence continued, and in 2019, IT Services Hungary received several accolades, including the National Investment Agency's (HIPA) award for best educational cooperation and recognition as one of the most attractive workplaces in Hungary by PwC. It was also named the most ethical multinational corporation. A major rebranding occurred on July 1, 2020, when IT Services Hungary became Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions, aligning with Deutsche Telekom Group's strategy to streamline its international B2B telecommunications business structure and enhance customer service. This change involved the formation of Deutsche Telekom IT and Telecommunications Hungary Kft. and later, Deutsche Telekom Systems Solutions Hungary Kft., both operating under the Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions brand. By August 2022, the company boasted over 5,100 employees, and this number grew to nearly 5,500, making it the largest business service centre in Hungary. Today, Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions HU continues to be a major player in the Hungarian ICT sector, with four sites across Budapest, Debrecen, Pécs, and Szeged, offering a wide portfolio of IT and telecommunications services and focusing on areas like cloud services, digital enablers, IT security, and network solutions. The company remains dedicated to digital transformation, innovation, and fostering a skilled international team.
