What you will achieve

The Advisory Solutions Principal – AI Field CTO will be a senior technical resource supporting multiple BDMs and sales teams (regionally) on our most strategic AI opportunities. As an Advisory Solutions Principal, you will support BDMs to identify and develop new strategic opportunities with existing clients. You will be architecting and evangelizing AI technology solutions across regional sales teams here at Dell Technologies. This will be a part of our new AI Business Development Charter where there will be horizontal solution-selling across AI ecosystem from data management to data center to far edge and enable/activate broader sales organization on AI.

You will:

• You will evangelize and promote Dell Technologies capabilities in this AI Marketplace
• You will assist in scoping and identifying the technical requirements for our customers use cases
• You will provide expertise and guidance to our customers and internal resources for what is needed to design solutions and win for Dell
• You will collaborate with other engineering resources within Dell and our partners to build the right solutions for our customers

Essential Requirements

• Understanding of emerging technologies, trends, and solutions (such as AI/ML and Data science, Converged and Hyper-Converged Infrastructure, Public or Private Clouds, X-as-a-Service)
• Excellent communication skills including active listening, proposal and statement of work writing, and delivery of white board or formal presentations
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, highly matrix organization with a strong desire to lead diverse teams thru multiple sales campaigns to completion
• A strong and persuasive sales-oriented personality that can partner with and influence cross-functional stakeholders from Sales Teams, the Solutioning Team and Delivery Teams to position and win services business

Desirable Requirements

• 10 years of pre-sales support and/or delivery experience in a consulting or professional services environment

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
