QA Engineer

Led by Michael Antonov, a co-founder of Oculus, and well-funded by Formic Ventures, Deep Origin is poised to reinvent the way scientists work and life science innovations come to life. We see a future largely free of diseases with a 150 year lifespan being a norm. To get there, we are building an operating system for science, enabling scientists to be more productive and to bring tomorrow's ideas to life quickly and at a reasonable cost.

In this position, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and functionality of our product by designing, developing, and maintaining the overall QA strategy for the Deep Origin product suite. You will work closely with our development and product teams to drive quality control best practices and help deliver high-quality software as well as ensure respective feedback loop to our clientele.

Requirements

• Experience creating and following QA strategy on a project - both from manual and automation perspective
• Proven experience in test automation using Cypress
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Experience with modern web development technologies (HTML5, CSS3, React, Angular, etc.)
• Experience using Rainforest or similar QAaaS tools
• Familiarity with API testing and tools like Postman or similar
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies, best practices, and test design techniques
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Travis CI, or similar is a plus
• Experience with performance testing and load testing tools is a plus
