About The Role

We are looking for an IT Systems & Automation Engineer to join our IT & Security team. For candidates in Helsinki, this is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work from our city center office and from home. For those based elsewhere, we're open to a fully remote arrangement. Our team of 2 is based in Helsinki, supporting a remote-first international organization of roughly 180 people across Europe and the USA. You'll collaborate with colleagues across different time zones to build automation and improve operations.

This role focuses on building AI workflows and automation solutions while maintaining our IT infrastructure for around 200 endpoints. You'll need experience with AI workflow automation, agents, cloud-based solutions, and IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

AI & Automation

  • Build and deploy AI workflows and agents to automate business processes
  • Develop automation solutions using N8N, Realm, Zapier or similar platforms
  • Create AI agents that integrate with our tech stack for IT operations, employee support, and other business workflows
  • Connect SaaS applications using APIs, webhooks, and automation platforms
  • Find and implement automations that gain efficiencies for departments
  • Manage AI/automation projects from start to finish, including timelines and stakeholder updates

IT Infrastructure & Support

  • Support Windows, MacOS, Linux, Android, and iOS devices across our remote-first organization
  • Handle employee onboarding and offboarding, including access and device lifecycle management
  • Manage SaaS applications including Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, and Freshservice, among others
  • Troubleshoot endpoint and IT related issues, keep systems running
  • Explain technical work and project status to leadership

Security & Compliance

  • Install, configure, and maintain MDM and EDR solutions
  • Keep security tools and agents updated across endpoints
  • Apply security best practices to automation workflows and AI agents
  • Support security and compliance work where needed

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience building AI workflows or agents using N8N, Realm, Zapier or similar tools
  • Understanding of AI concepts like prompt engineering
  • Experience with API integrations and connecting SaaS applications
  • Experience managing SaaS applications and their configurations
  • Familiarity with tools like Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, and Freshservice
  • Experience supporting Windows, MacOS, Linux, Android, and iOS devices in a business environment
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Self-starter who gets things done with minimal supervision
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once

Bonus Qualifications

  • IT service management experience
  • Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash
  • Practical security operations experience in business environments
