Sr. Full Stack Software Engineer

About the opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to play a critical role in building our next-generation Internal Developer Portal (IDP). This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on developer productivity and efficiency across the organization. You will be a key contributor to the design, development, and implementation of a cutting-edge platform that empowers internal teams with self-service cloud infrastructure provisioning.
What you’ll get to do
• Technical Design and Architecture:
◦ Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to design and implement a scalable, secure, and highly available IDP.
◦ Implement best practices that come from the infrastructure-as-code (IaC) deployments team, ensuring consistency and maintainability.
◦ Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for the IDP's architecture and codebase.
• Full Stack Development:
◦ Develop and maintain core features of the IDP, including user authentication, authorization, resource management, and self-service provisioning workflows.
◦ Build robust and performant APIs to support seamless integration with existing systems and tools.
◦ Create a user-friendly and intuitive interface for developers to interact with the IDP.
◦ Write clean, well-documented, and testable code across all layers of the application.
• Technology Selection and Integration:
◦ Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and tools for the IDP, considering factors such as scalability, security, and maintainability.
◦ Integrate the IDP with existing infrastructure and tools, including IaC solutions, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring systems.
◦ Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in cloud infrastructure and software development.
• Collaboration and Communication:
◦ Work closely with cross-functional teams, including security, DevOps, and product management, to ensure alignment and successful delivery of the IDP.
◦ Provide technical guidance and support to other developers on the team.
◦ Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of development processes.
Skills and experience we value
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Go) and willingness to learn new languages as needed.
• Extensive experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Expertise in backend technologies, including RESTful APIs, databases (SQL & NoSQL), and server-side frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Django, Spring Boot).
• Deep understanding of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and experience with IaC solutions (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of security best practices in software development.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
