Job Overview
American Claims Management, part of Davies Specialty Programs, is looking for a Director of Workers’ Compensation to lead and direct the overall operations of the Workers’ Compensation Division, manage existing programs and evaluate expansion of products and territory.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Direct all operations of the Worker’s Compensation division, team, and clients
- Maintain relationships with existing and prospective partners in concert with other ACM personnel
- Direct and manage all related people and processes
- Participate in business development activities.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Experience and Qualifications
- Active Adjuster License and/or as required by any other state in which handling claims.
- A minimum of seven years of Workers’ Compensation claims handling experience with a consistent high level of performance and achievement.
- A four-year college degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.
- A minimum of three years’ effective leadership experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to design workflows and procedures.
- Identifies and solves problems in a timely manner.
- Organizational skills and abilities.
- Able to prioritize and utilize good time management skills.
- Able to communicate both written and verbally in a clear, concise and professional manner to all levels of employee.

Position Type, Work Environment and Physical Demands
This is a home-based, full time, salaried, exempt position that predominantly operates remotely from a professional home-based office environment routinely using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, photocopiers, and scanners and requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk while working on a computer. While performing the duties of this job, the individual will be required to regularly hear and talk. This is a largely sedentary role requiring the ability to sit at a desk, reach outward, use a phone, have use of fingers to operate office equipment such as a keyboard, mouse, phone, printer, copier, and to reach above the head, bend, or stand as necessary.
