Your Mission
As a Researcher, you’ll be diving into the world of sourcing with a clear path to mastery. You’re not expected to know it all—but you are expected to be curious, fast-learning, and ready to get your hands dirty. Working closely with an experienced sourcer, you’ll support active hiring pipelines, explore niche communities, and sharpen your ability to find and engage exceptional talent. This role is built for someone who wants to become a sourcing expert.
Your First 90 Days
- First 30 Days: Get fully onboarded into Daos Hub’s sourcing tools, workflows, and team culture. Shadow a senior sourcer on active searches and complete your first training sprints on Boolean search, scraping, and outreach tools.
- Day 31-60: Start running your own sourcing tasks with oversight. Begin identifying and adding candidates to pipelines. Test your first outreach campaigns and track engagement metrics.
- Day 61-90: Contribute independently to several open roles. Improve sourcing speed and accuracy. Present your first market research reports and suggest improvements to sourcing processes.
How You’ll Contribute
- Support search projects across digital, marketing, hospitality, game development roles
- Learn and apply advanced search techniques like Boolean and X-ray
- Research and map online communities where target talent lives
- Help run scraping tools and sourcing automations
- Assist in writing and refining outreach messages and campaigns
- Verify and input accurate candidate data into sourcing systems
- Track basic sourcing metrics and learn from performance data
- Collaborate with senior team members and take part in feedback sessions
What You Bring
- 1+ year of experience in recruitment or completion of sourcing courses
- Interest in tech, digital communities, and online research
- Strong learning mindset and readiness to develop sourcing skills
- Basic understanding of sourcing tools or platforms (LinkedIn, GitHub, etc.)
- Strong written communication in English (Upper-Intermediate+)
- High attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Team player attitude and openness to feedback
