We have a great opportunity for a Solution Architect to join our Defense Solutions Division!

As our Solution Architect - Advanced Computing Systems you will provide internal and external technical leadershipin defining, architecting, and driving implementation of rugged deployable hardware Advanced Computing Systems solutions to support division level solution-focused strategies to support demanding computing applications on the tactical edge. You will architect scalable and adaptable rugged deployable hardware solutions (ranging from 5 Watts to 5000 Watts) to provide the optimum level of advanced computing capability suited to application requirements and constraints of the harsh deployed environments. You will provide technical leadership for new business capture activities in coordination with our Business Development / Sales teams and key product line leaders. You will clearly communicate technology and product strengths and gapsto our division leadership to enable timely decisions for strategic planning, R&D investment, and M&A pursuits.

Salary Range:$159,500.00 - $210,000.00 per year plus bonus

Your Challenge:

• Develop rugged deployable hardware Advanced Computing System solutions architectures to solve industry wide and customer specific challenges in support of business capture and top-line growth. Rugged deployable hardware application areas include autonomy, AI/ML enhancements, sensor processing, and complex command & control applications. Expected to drive partnerships and internal initiatives (including training / mentoring) to provide and grow division capabilities. 50%

• Develop relationships with key customers to understand problems and required solutions requiring Advanced Computing Systems 20%

• Coordinate with Business Development / Sales / Marketing to communicate and evangelize solutions, including providing technical leadership on business capture activities. 20%

• Coordinate with key division leaders, technology leaders, and product leaders to communicate and report on solutions, required technologies, required products, and key partners. 10%

What You Bring:

• 12 + Years of Related Experience

• Bachelor's Degree – Electrical, Computer, or Software Engineering

• Strategic mindset and collaboration skills

• Leadership skills and experience

• Work in ad-hoc teams across division to lead specific technical pursuits.

• Experience in aligning customer needs and company strategy

• Strong knowledge and experience in architecting Advanced Computing Systems, including high speed networking, heterogeneous computing (CPU, GPU, FPGA, ASIC), & data storage systems.

• Experience in rugged deployable hardware important for understanding constraints of solution space.

• Experience in optimization around constraints in Size, Weight, Power, and Cost (SWaP-C) a plus. Experience in High Performance Computing (HPC) a plus.
