We are proud to say that you will be surrounded by some of the smartest, enthusiastic, hard working and dedicated people that you’ll ever meet (at least, that we’ve ever met!).

Who we are looking for:

At Creyos, we understand that solving big challenges demands unwavering resilience and determination. We don’t stop until we achieve our goals. People who thrive at Creyos are driven, curious, hardworking, and enthusiastic about scaling a company—along with having a good sense of humor. If this resonates with you, we’d love to hear from you!

You possess a strong aptitude for understanding processes and a keen eye for identifying unique details, all while taking delight in being the first to explore new features in real-world scenarios. As part of the Creyos team, you will play a key role in shaping our quality assurance practices, ensuring the seamless delivery of innovative, error-free features for customers. Our team will empower you to collaborate with a diverse group of professionals, including scientists, product managers, designers, developers, and test automation QAs, as you work together to define, test and launch new functionalities, in order to deliver maximum value for our global user base.

What you will be doing:

As a Manual QA Tester at Creyos, you will:

  • Assist with QA processes, evaluate testing tools and methodologies, implement technologies that align with our strategic objectives, and drive continuous improvements.
  • Establish and implement QA best practices while continuously improving the overall efficiency and effectiveness of development and QA processes.
  • Work with our Science and Product teams to refine features, write test cases, and contribute to requirements.
  • Design, develop and execute regression tests together with exploratory testing of the new features.
  • Provide feedback and guidance, while working directly with developers to test the features throughout the development lifecycle.

The skills and experience we are looking for:

  • Strong analytical skills, self-driven, reliable, and keen to learn.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – because we know that teamwork achieves the best possible results.
  • An understanding that quality is a collective effort, rather than one person’s responsibility.
  • Determination to investigate and isolate the root cause of bugs. A strong focus on documenting issues thoroughly and concisely while always bearing the reader in mind.
  • A strong motivation to understand every small detail of our product. Someone who is driven to make observations - no matter how small - to improve the experience of our users as much as possible.

It would be great if you also have:

  • Experience with Ruby on Rails
  • Ability to write BDD scenarios using Cucumber in a consistent and structured manner
  • Industry-specific certifications, such as ISTQB, CSTE, or CSQA
  • Familiarity with CI and CD tools and practices
  • Familiarity with Gherkin
  • Experience in Healthtech

Some of the reasons people choose to join the Creyos team include:

  • Grow through our career paths leading to more senior roles. We invest in the development of our team members, provide significant opportunities for growth and career advancement, and do everything we can to support one another to ensure individual and team success. In 2025, 37% of our team members were promoted at least once to more senior roles!
  • Get access to comprehensive benefits. We pride ourselves on offering benefits covering medical, dental, vision, mental health, wellness and more.

Creyos, formerly known as Cambridge Brain Sciences, embarked on its mission three decades ago, rooted in the pioneering neuroscience research of Dr. Adrian Owen at Cambridge University. The journey began to take a more defined shape in 2009 when Cambridge Brain Sciences was established as a web-based platform. This platform was designed for both the public and the scientific community to assess cognitive functions like memory, attention, verbal ability, reasoning, and planning using Dr. Owen's computerized tests. A significant milestone was achieved in 2010 when Dr. Owen received a $10 million grant, the Canada Excellence Research Chair in Cognitive Neuroscience and Imaging at Western University's Brain and Mind Institute. This funding propelled the rigorous testing and validation of 12 core cognitive tasks, which became the bedrock of the company's offerings. The company, as it's known today, truly started to form in 2014. This was when Dr. Owen partnered with Marc Lipton, a business leader with a strong background in building successful ventures and a personal passion for advancing neuroscience and cognitive care. Together, they envisioned transforming how clinicians and researchers measure brain health by leveraging Dr. Owen's research and digitized cognitive tasks. They assembled a dedicated team of scientists, product designers, and software architects to build the platform.

Since its inception, the platform's normative database of cognitive task scores has grown exponentially, now containing over 12 million scores from individuals aged 6 to 90 and beyond, making it one of the world's largest. The cognitive tasks developed have been utilized and validated in over 400 peer-reviewed scientific studies, predominantly by independent institutions. This underscores the scientific credibility of the assessments, which were well-validated even before the commercial entity was formally established. In 2015, the company was officially founded by Professor Adrian Owen and Marc Lipton. Recognizing the evolution of their services beyond cognitive tasks to include digital versions of standard patient health questionnaires, the company rebranded from Cambridge Brain Sciences to Creyos in 2022. This change reflected their core commitment: ensuring every assessment, report, and insight is rooted in scientific credibility. Today, Creyos serves thousands of healthcare providers across various disciplines, alongside researchers, offering a comprehensive platform to objectively measure and monitor patient brain health, ultimately aiming to improve patient outcomes and develop more effective cognitive care plans.
