Creatella's journey began in 2015, born in Singapore with a unique blend of European and Japanese influences. The founder, Guillaume Catella, a self-described 'born technopreneur', embarked on his entrepreneurial path long before Creatella's inception. His early ventures included developing a music website in 2006 that quickly amassed millions of visitors and leading the development of a Japanese RPG mobile game to the #1 spot in Korea's App Store. These experiences, coupled with his roles as CTO in various startups spanning e-commerce and FinTech in Singapore, laid the groundwork for a new kind of venture. Guillaume's academic pursuits, including a Master's in nuclear engineering and quantum physics from Japan and an MBA from INSEAD in Singapore with an exchange to the Wharton School, further shaped his vision. It was during his MBA that the initial idea for Creatella began to take shape. He identified a critical gap in the startup ecosystem – a need for a model that could bridge the divide between outsourcing agencies and internal tech teams, offering a flexible, aligned team focused on long-term startup vision rather than short-term profits.

This realization fueled the creation of Creatella, a venture builder designed to empower visionary entrepreneurs and tech talents to build impactful startups from the ground up. What started with Guillaume working from his kitchen table has evolved into a global entity. Creatella's core mission is to act as a tech co-founder, providing a fractional CTO and a complete tech team to help early-stage startups build, accelerate, and finance their ventures. The company focuses on sectors like FinTech, EdTech, and HealthTech, aiming to disrupt industries for a better world. Over the years, Creatella has supported the launch of numerous startups, helping its portfolio companies raise significant funding.
