What began in 2011 as a pioneering idea to revolutionize child protection has blossomed into CPOMS, the UK's market-leading software for monitoring safeguarding, wellbeing, and a whole host of pastoral issues within schools. The journey started with a clear and critical mission: to move beyond cumbersome paper-based filing systems and create a secure, digital chronology of a child's welfare concerns. This allows educational professionals to spot trends, intervene early, and ensure that no child falls through the cracks. The initial concept was simple yet powerful: provide a centralized and secure online system for school staff to log any concern, from bullying and behavioural issues to more sensitive child protection matters. This information would then be instantly and securely accessible to the relevant senior leaders, enabling them to take swift and appropriate action.

The company's dedication to this mission saw it grow rapidly, earning the trust of thousands of schools across the UK and internationally. This success did not go unnoticed. In 2021, a significant new chapter in the CPOMS story began when it was acquired by Raptor Technologies, the leading provider of school safety software in the United States. This strategic partnership was a perfect fit, uniting two companies with a shared passion for protecting children. The acquisition has allowed CPOMS to embark on a new journey of growth, expanding its reach into North American markets and enhancing its product suite. Now part of the Raptor Technologies family, CPOMS continues to innovate, developing new modules like StaffSafe and CPOMS Engage to provide an even more comprehensive safeguarding ecosystem for schools, multi-academy trusts, and local authorities, ensuring that the wellbeing of students and staff remains at the forefront of education.
