Overview
The Technical Product Owner drives solution definitions that support business ideas and product concepts at a team and program level by gathering and translating testable requirements into application software solutions. The Technical Product Owner has deep domain knowledge and strong experience collaborating with a diverse team, including product managers, technical architects, software developers, testers, and teams such as Client Services, Operations, Clinical, Data Science, and Marketing. This is a combined Role of TPO and SM (Scrum Master).
Responsibilities
- Conduct interviews and requirement workshops with a cross-disciplined team to elicit an understanding of business needs.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and the development team to drive a solution meeting the program's objectives and vision.
- Collaborate directly with Product, Business, and development teams in the creation and maintenance of requirements (Features and User Stories)
- Refinement of program backlog and preparation/readiness for Program Increment Plannin
- Prioritize and maintain the team backlog.
- Acceptance of user stories completed at the end of each iteration/sprint and show demo to the business users.
- Complete all responsibilities as outlined in the annual Performance Plan.
- Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or significant equivalent work experience in the Healthcare domain.
- Strong business analysis experience. 5-7 years minimum.
- Expert use of analysis, documentation, and presentation tools, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, JIRA, etc.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
- Excellent verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills; is a team player.
- Ability to conduct Scrum Ceremonies.
- Very strong written skills, showing the ability to convey functional details accurately in a well-structured and precise manner that describes end-user problems and solutions.
- Proven problem-solving skills, logical and analytical.
- Experience with systems modeling, decision trees, data flow.
- Hands-on Experience writing SQL Queries in the ORACLE database to analyze data and patterns.
- Solid experience in Scrum Agile development or Scaled Agile Framework, Jira experience desired.
- Ability to learn the healthcare domain quickly (prior healthcare experience desired.
Base compensation ranges from $86,000 to $120,500. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
