Responsibilities:
- Contribute to current manual and automation test efforts.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.
- Collaborate with the QA and development teams to integrate automated testing into both new and existing projects.
- Troubleshoot automated test failures, working closely with developers for resolution.
- Implement and disseminate Quality Assurance best practices within the team.
- Analyzing and processing product requirements, as well as managing the intake, triage, and verification of defects.
- Coordinate and collaborate with teams across various time zones.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in engineering or computer science.
- Familiarity with Playwright or similar automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
- Knowledge of programming/scripting languages such as JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Exposure to version control (e.g., Git) and an interest in continuous integration tools.
- Proficient in Postman and system integrations via APIs
- Experience creating test documentation (test plans, test cases, release notes) and working with requirements.
- Basic knowledge of agile software development methodologies.
- An analytical mindset for efficient diagnosis and resolution of script failures.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of software quality assurance.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in effectively collaborating with geographically distributed teams.
