ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Vice President (VP) of Global Marketing, Continence Care will be responsible for the end-to-end global Marketing strategy for the portfolio. This includes leadership of both upstream and downstream Marketing activities across the products in Continence Care and Home Services. The VP will help drive successful product launches around the world with a highly patient-centric approach and will be a strategic leader, blending analytical horsepower with the ability to 'roll up their sleeves' and drive strong execution. This role has a truly global remit, with a need to continue driving momentum in the US, where Convatec has the majority (~55%) of its revenue, as well as expanding in Europe (UK, Italy, France, Germany currently) and key GEM markets.
This positon will report into our President and Chiefo Operating Officer, Contince Care and Home Services Group.
ABOUT YOU:
Key Accountabilities
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a global marketing strategy that aligns with Convatc's overall business objectives and growth targets. The ideal candidate will identify and capitalize on market opportunities to drive growth in the continence care segment and collaborate with senior leadership to ensure marketing strategies support the company's vision and goals.
Brand Management: Lead the development and implementation of brand strategies to enhance Convatec's market position in continence care. Drive initiative to increase brand awareness and loyalty amongst healthcare professionals and patients.
Product Marketing: Oversee the launch and promotion of new products within the continence care portfolio. Work closely with product development teams to align marketing efforts and product innovations. Monitor product performance and adjust marketing strategies to optimize market penetration and sales.
Market Research and Customer Insights: Conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive dynamics. Utilize customer insights to inform marketing strategies and product development.
Team Leadership and Development: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing global marketing team. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team. Lead a small team with the long-term goal of unifying the marketing efforts of the Continence Care team and Home Services team.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencers.
Education/Experience:
Experience in healthcare products in the home by the patient; experience with Continence Care or related medical products/supplies.
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
10+ years of overall commercial leadership experience, including 5+ years of marketing experience.
Experience leading product and strategic marketing, including upstream and downstream marketing.
Experience with data-driven D2C consumer marketing methodologies.
Experience of building business cases to support product launches.
Qualifications:
Track record of working in healthcare product commercialization, with knowledge of scientific, clinical development, regulatory, and commercial strategies.
Track record of developing talent in a global organization and building a high-performing team.
Able to influence and collaborate cross-functionally with peer functions, as well as with direct reports and supervisors
