You Will:

  • Lead multiple concurrent engagements to implement Smartsheet across a variety of client industries and complex use cases, ensuring your clients are gaining the most value from the Smartsheet platform towards their intended business outcome
  • Lead discovery sessions to understand client's current state processes, business challenges, and future state requirements to design a custom Smartsheet solution that achieves their desired business outcomes
  • Build Smartsheet solutions via solution prototyping, iterative build sprints, compelling client demonstrations, and collecting and incorporating client feedback
  • Manage all aspects of your projects, including, but not limited to, timeline, resources, deliverables, scope, budget, change requests and client relations
  • Collaborate with other consulting team members, both on projects and around personal development. Participate in the onboarding mentor program, both as a mentee and mentor
  • Review and validate solution designs by performing internal solution testing, creating customer-facing user acceptance test scripts, and facilitating end-user acceptance testing with customer stakeholders
  • Design, demonstrate, and build Smartsheet solutions that fit within customer business needs
  • Serve as an advisor on best practices and capabilities of the Smartsheet platform at scale across a variety of industries and business functions
  • Identify and mitigate project deliverable and customer outcome risks, both internally and with client leadership
  • Demonstrates and shares mastery of Smartsheet Product Knowledge with a strong understanding of complex solution architecture
  • Identify product and services expansion opportunities for Smartsheet with the customer's user base
  • Meet or exceed key performance indicator (KPI) targets aligned to the role
  • Mentor junior/new team members to share technical design and implementation best practices
  • Coach and enable customer solution owners on maintenance, enhancement, and governance for post-delivery solution ownership
  • Contributes new ideas and shares learnings with the team by facilitating and taking ownership of teach-backs
  • Other tasks as assigned

You Have:

  • A minimum of 4-5 years relevant work experience or equivalent combination of relevant work experience and education
  • Hands-on working experience in the configuration, customization, and implementation of SaaS applications
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of project management experience managing timeline, scope, budgets and project execution
  • High level of motivation, self-starter, excellent at follow-up, team-player with ability to deliver within defined timelines in order to promote a collaborative environment and superior team performance
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, presentation), with the ability to explain technical subjects to non-technical end user personnel in large enterprises
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with customers and effectively communicate with them about the engagement and if there are potential risks/blockers in a proactive way
  • Passion for working with leading edge, web-based technologies and a desire to deeply understand Smartsheet’s benefits, use cases, and business and technical elements
  • Experience with problem solving and risk resolution
  • Highly motivated and resourceful team-player
  • Experience coaching/mentoring team members

Demonstrated ability to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic, growth-oriented environment with the ability to quickly adjust between clients and use cases
