Do you have exceptional organisation skills and like to ensure things are systematized and in place? Computershare has a great opportunity for an individual who enjoys the variety of handling written correspondence as well as dealing with customers over the phone. Your training will initially be office-based, situated in Citywest Business Park, Dublin with the view to working remotely in future.
Our Customer Care Officers are a fundamental part of Computershare. This position is responsible for the handling of shareholder correspondence, identifying and dealing with complaints, incoming and outgoing mail, assisting in sorting post, as well as batching and scanning so the appropriate departments can receive the necessary information. This includes vetting, scanning, and auditing proxies in the run up to various proxy meetings and assisting in the processing of Irish transfers.

The Customer Care Officer will initially work from the office with the view to work remotely in the near future, creating a great work life balance. It’s okay if you don’t know everything about this role. As-long-as you have the drive and acumen for the position Computershare will guide you through the process. Working hours are 8am-4pm while working from the office and 9am-5pm when working remotely, however we can be flexible on this.
Some of your key responsibilities will include
- Correspondence – written, dealing with shareholder queries and complaints.
- Opening post and sorting in readiness for you to batch, scan and allocate via workflow system
- Franking outgoing mail and dealing with couriers; using Án Post and sending work to Bristol offices
- Certifying and returning legal documents in line with company procedure
- Producing and printing letter as well as ad hoc admin tasks to support the team
- Assisting with some Shareholder Services tasks such as Proxy process, Scrip, stock deposits, transfers, Dealing & tax form processing
You will be trained within the team by knowledgeable colleagues and upskilled across a range of tasks. Due to the nature of Operations, a high degree of cross training is required which you will be supported with.

Salary: 25,000 - 32,000 Euros depending on experience
