The Workday Absence & Time Tracking SeniorPrincipalConsultant will “bridge the gap” between the business and technical teams by solving complex Workday intersystem problems. They will guide clients through the transformation, implementation, and operation phases of a Workday implementation.This rolesits within the Absence, Time Tracking and Scheduling Practice in North America.
Responsibilities:
Be a Workday product expert with knowledge of design, configuration,testingand implementation.
Reinforces company policies and procedurestoothers.
Drives and makes decisionsregardingtacticaldirection of project workstreams.
Identifiesdependencies and supports interplay between different workstreams within a project.
Leads, mentors, and oversees the work of other Consultants within their projects.
Guide the client through facilitated design sessions and configuration decisions based on best practices and an understanding of the client’s unique business requirements at all stages of the project.
Regularly engage and support the client through all phases of the project, ensuring a smooth transfer from legacy systems to the Workday HCM solution.
Perform multiple tasks under limited direction, while regularly keeping the client,yourprojectteamandyourEngagement Manager abreast of changes or progress related to the project.
Willingness to take a leadership position on a project, or as a Cognizantor Workday product Partner Lead and/or Delivery Assurance Reviewer.
Displayyourhands-onexpertiseof the software, includingiLoadingclient data,moving configuration from tenant to tenant, and configuring business processes and security.
Utilizeyourtechnical aptitude to convert and map data sources into data conversion templates viaiLoads.
Act as a mentor to fellow consultants and analysts, including providing support for shadow assignments.
Activelyparticipatein update training and internal opportunities to share one’s skills and learnings with others within the organization.

Skills & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degreeor equivalent experience.
4+ years of WorkdayAbsence & Time Trackingimplementation experiencerequired.
Workday Scheduling experiencerequired.
Workday certification(s) required.
5yearsHuman Resources, Payroll, orFinancialsoftware experience,required.
5 years implementing functional solutions with ERP or SaaS software,required.
Experience gathering business requirements,designingand prototyping, testing, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines.
Demonstrated functional experience in Human Resources, Payroll, or Financials Management.
Flexible to travel up to 25%.
Salary and Other Compensation
