Coinbase is seeking a Staff Software Engineer, Backend (Platform - Payments) to join their India-based team. The team is working on a multi-year initiative to rearchitect the existing payments system, and the engineer will be responsible for architecting and developing the platform, working closely with management and stakeholders to define strategic roadmaps, and designing scalable systems to solve novel problems.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering
  • Design, build, scale, and maintain production services
  • Strong technical skills for system design and coding
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bias toward open, transparent cultural practices
