What will you be doing?

As the Client Engagement manager, you will work closely with the Foodservice Business Development Team and qualified Prospects in demonstrating the value of our suite of Foodservice Product Offerings and how it can be leveraged with their key customers and internally to help drive sales and make better, faster, and more informed business decisions. In this diverse role you will support the Foodservice Business Development team with potential/existing clients to identify opportunities to help generate Syndicated subscription and AdHoc sales.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in and conduct live data demonstrations (via in-person or Zoom) for prospective subscribers.
  • Provide day-to-day servicing support for our business development team, assessing and addressing prospect business needs.
  • Accurately interpret data and clearly articulate findings and insights to both internal and external audiences, in written and verbal formats.
  • Build strategic relationships with prospect contacts to develop business insights regarding the prospects' most critical issues/needs, both short and long-term
  • Run, analyze, and chart insights derived from data to uncover potential selling opportunities for a pre-defined group of prospects and existing customers.
  • Efficiently pull data and generate creative customized deliverables for sold projects or potential selling opportunities.
  • Incorporate industry knowledge, and 'story tell' to deliver actionable insights in a client friendly format. Provide the 'What, So What, Now What' insights.
  • Manage, execute and track projects from initial request through completion.
  • Assist in sales presentations and prospect discussions as needed.
  • Align with the sales team to support the business strategies and objectives.
  • Facilitate and deliver on in-bound requests (as-needed) while business development team is traveling or not available.
  • Work closely with Marketing and PR teams to provide them with insights about strategic and tactical industry issues.
  • Ensure a high level of client satisfaction is maintained through delivering value and insights.
  • Bring new deliverable ideas to the BD team to better serve prospects.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Market Research industry and/or Consumer Panel data a plus
  • 3-5+ years of experience in client servicing, market research or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Ability to interact proactively with all client levels, set and manage expectations, articulate information effectively.
  • Proficiency in building collaborative relationships.
  • Strong analytic acumen: ability and eagerness to pull, analyze, and chart data to tell a compelling story.
  • Organizes and thinks through large amounts of information, arriving at a succinct conclusion, strong attention to detail.
  • Juggles multiple projects in a deadline-oriented work environment.
  • Developed presentation skills with audiences of various sizes and management levels.
  • Self-motivated
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Willingness to travel

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $67,700 to $100,000.
