Requirements
- Basic knowledge of Python– variables, loops, functions, basic file handling (CSV/JSON), scripting
- Ability to write simple to intermediate SQL queries– SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY, aggregations
- Familiarity with relational databasessuch as PostgreSQL or BigQuery
- Introductory knowledge Git– basic commands like add, commit, push, working with branches
- Introductory knowledge of JavaScript– variables, functions, DOM events
- Interest in working with data pipelines, APIs, automation, and product tracking
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced and hands-on environment
Nice to have
- Exposure to Google Tag Manager (GTM)
- Familiarity with GA4, Mixpanel, or Amplitudefor product analytics
- Experience building dashboards in Power BI, Looker Studio, or Tableau
- Conceptual understanding of ETL workflows– extract/transform/load logic
- Experience with APIs– e.g., working with HTTP requests via Python
- Interest in Docker, Terraform, and basic infrastructure-as-code practices
Responsibilities
- Assist in the setup, maintenance, and monitoring of ETL pipelinesunder the supervision of senior team members
- Write basic Python scriptsto collect, process, or move data between APIs, files, and databases
- Support the configuration, integration, and debugging of tracking scripts using Python, Google Tag Manager, and internal web services for product analytics
- Contribute to the preparation of data for dashboards and reporting, including SQL queries and data cleanup
- Collaborate on diagnosing and resolving data issues, inconsistencies, or tracking gaps
- Participate in API-based integrationsfor pulling external data or sending data to third-party services
- Learn and gradually contribute to infrastructure tasks, including automation, containerization, and configuration (Docker, Terraform)
- Follow coding and documentation best practices to ensure clean, reproducible work
