Hone Health's journey began from a personal struggle that transformed into a mission-driven enterprise. Co-founder and CEO, Saad Alam, experienced firsthand the frustrations of navigating the traditional healthcare system when he faced symptoms like weight gain, diminished mental acuity, and low energy in his mid-thirties. After a year of seeking answers without success, he discovered a group of hormone optimization and regenerative physicians who identified his low testosterone. This personal revelation sparked the realization of a much larger, often unaddressed, issue of hormonal imbalances affecting both men and women. Inspired by this experience and a desire to prevent others from enduring similar challenges, Saad Alam co-founded Hone Health in 2018, initially under the name Peak, with a vision to revolutionize how individuals approach their health as they age. The company was established to meet the growing demand for accessible and personalized hormone optimization solutions.

From its inception, Hone Health focused on creating a comprehensive telehealth platform. The core idea was to provide complex treatments remotely, making healthcare more convenient and patient-centric. The company developed a model integrating telemedicine consultations with licensed physicians, at-home and in-person lab testing for over 40 biomarkers, and personalized treatment plans that include doctor-prescribed medications and supplements delivered directly to patients' homes. This approach aimed to empower patients to take control of their health, offering clear answers and effective plans to not just alleviate symptoms but to proactively manage their well-being and longevity. Recognizing the broader implications of preventative care, Hone Health expanded its focus beyond men's initial hormone optimization to encompass a wider range of proactive and preventative healthcare services for both men and women, addressing issues like menopause, thyroid conditions, and overall longevity. A significant step in this expansion was the acquisition of ivee in early 2025, which allowed Hone Health to introduce in-home healthcare services, further enhancing patient access to high-quality, personalized treatment. This strategic move, coupled with substantial Series A funding, has positioned Hone Health to continue its growth, push the boundaries of innovation in longevity care, and strive towards its goal of helping people live longer, healthier, and more fulfilling lives.
