The Enterprise Client Services business unit is the central point of contact for the planning, development, provisioning and support of all CQUniversity’s Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) infrastructure—critical to the University’s ongoing success.

Join a collaborative team of technology specialists dedicated to supporting CQUniversity’s learning environments. In this dynamic role, you’ll help maintain and enhance educational technology systems across our campuses, ensuring lecture theatres, tutorial rooms, computer labs and meeting spaces function reliably and efficiently. Your work will directly enhance the student and staff experience by enabling smooth, high-quality teaching and learning.

You’ll take the lead in responding to urgent technical issues, drawing on your expertise to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems with minimal disruption. Whether supporting daily operations or contributing to the planning and refurbishment of learning spaces, your input will help shape the future of CQUniversity’s educational infrastructure.

With a strong focus on service and continuous improvement, you’ll offer clear, practical advice and collaborate closely with colleagues to strengthen technical capabilities across the team. This is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and professional environment!

Position Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to resolve issues and negotiate effective outcomes with a range of stakeholders.
  • A degree with relevant post-qualification experience; or extensive technical or administrative experience with demonstrated management expertise; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply technical expertise to support, guide, and lead team members.
  • Proven ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet critical deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in teaching space capacity planning and lifecycle management.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current trends, technologies, and innovations within your area of technical expertise.
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g. Microsoft, Cisco, QSC, AMX training) are desirable.
