Requirements
- Oversee the credentialing and re-credentialing process for assigned business units.
- Oversee staff including performance management activities
- Serve as the subject matter expert for activities related to credentialing.
- Investigate and resolve complex credentialing issues.
- Be an active participant in departmental planning initiatives to improve quality, efficiency, and overall departmental effectiveness.
- Provide training to team members to ensure accurate and timely and credentialing of providers.
- Prepare materials and facilitate Credentialing Committee meetings
- Collaborate on facilitation of Clean Committee process.
- Monitoring performance to ensure credentialing quality benchmarks are met.
- Assist with and as needed, represent Credentialing during preparation and reviews associated with audit activity (e.g., NCQA, EQRO, Internal Audit).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively within and across departmental lines.
