About the job:

Role: Operations Associate

Work Schedule: Full Time | 40 hrs a week | Pacific Standard Time (PST)

Salary Range: US$1000 - US$1800 (dependent on skills and experience)

Our client is a startup software development company committed to making blockchain privacy accessible to everyone. Our platform stands at the forefront of blockchain encryption, offering a secure and private environment for crypto transactions.

As Operations Associate, you will report directly to the Chief of Staff (with a dotted line to the Founder/CEO), providing support on tasks and projects where needed. You will have the opportunity to work with individuals who are at the forefront of tech, crypto, fintech, and web3.

Role and Responsibilities:

Some of your roles and responsibilities as Executive Assistant include, but are not limited to:

Research:

• Conduct comprehensive industry research to stay ahead of trends, identify opportunities, and inform our product development strategy.

Internal Procurement and Vendor Messaging:

• Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely procurement of necessary materials and services for the internal team.
• Communicate effectively with vendors to align their products and services with our operational needs.

Cross-Functional Support:

• Collaborate with various departments including product development, marketing, and customer support to ensure operational coherence and efficiency.

Data Management:

• Maintain the integrity and accuracy of our data systems through diligent data hygiene, entry, and scraping as needed.
• Conduct regular audits and updates of databases to ensure data reliability and usefulness.

Reporting:

• Generate status updates on clients and provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Email Management:

• Efficiently manage email communications, ensuring timely responses and proper distribution of information within the team.

Persona - KYC (Know Your Customer) Management:

• Oversee the collection and management of KYC documentation through the platform Persona.

Discord Management Support:

• Provide support for our internal team communications on Discord, ensuring a seamless flow of information and fostering a collaborative environment.

What you will be fully owning on Week 1:

• Onboarding and learning all the workflows, systems, and channels
• Internal and external communications
• Cross-Functional support and collaboration
• Creating dashboards and trackers for all ongoing projects

Requirements

This role would be a fit for you if you have the following skills:

• Experience in Operations: A minimum of 1 year experience in providing operational support/performing tasks in operations.
• Strong written and spoken English communication: You will be communicating with multiple stakeholders through different channels (email, call, Discord chat, etc.). Excellent English is necessary to help represent the brand well.
• Tech-Savvy: Has experience working with different platforms and tools, or can quickly grasp new software.
• Project Management Experience: Has owned projects in previous roles, overseeing and managing them to successful completion.

• High Reliability: The role necessitates someone who can be trusted to work with highly confidential information.
• Adaptable: Working in a startup environment requires a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
• Experience with Discord, Persona, Slack
