Catalyste+

Catalyste+ is a Canadian economic development organization that has been empowering businesses, governments, and communities since 1967. Originally known as CESO-SACO, the organization rebranded to better reflect its evolved mission and approach to international development. Headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, Catalyste+ connects Canadian expertise with partners in emerging countries and Indigenous communities across Canada to develop skills and increase local capacity for sustainable economic growth.

The organization operates through a network of over 1,800 volunteer advisors who bring an average of 20 years of industry experience to their mentorship and advisory assignments. Catalyste+ works across 30 countries and with Indigenous communities throughout Canada, focusing on areas that drive inclusive growth and sustainable development. Their programs span agribusiness, gender equality, governance, natural resources management, tourism and hospitality, and MSME development. With a commitment to Reconciliation with Indigenous peoples, Catalyste+ strives to ensure its work aligns with what matters most to its partners and communities, creating stronger economies for better lives.
