Application Engineer Modernization

The Modernization Department is responsible for the technical and conceptual development of existing facilities to optimize them energetically, make them operationally safe, and make them sustainable for future requirements.

Requirements

• Technical interface between sales and project processing in the design and offer phase as well as during execution
• Support the preparation of offers through process-engineering designs and technical concepts
• Creation of project-specific technical documentation (e.g. function descriptions, process descriptions, technical specifications)
• Design and optimization of cold and heat systems in the HVAC sector under consideration of energetic and economic aspects
• Analysis of existing facilities including identification of weaknesses and development of suitable optimization measures
• Creation of R&I diagrams as well as support of technical planning (CAD knowledge is advantageous)
• Development of energy-efficient and future-proof facility concepts within modernization projects
• Building, maintenance, and development of a network of specialist suppliers in the engineering sector
• Professional leadership of suppliers in engineering as well as active tracking of project progress and ensuring timely cooperation
• Technical coordination with internal and external project participants
