Team Lead - Visualization Team (C++) (M/F) - Porto / Lisboa (Open Cascade)

It provides tools for creating, modifying, and visualizing 3D models, along with capabilities for mesh handling and boolean operations. Open Cascade is focused on the digital transformation of industries through the use of the latest technologies and services.

Your Mission

You will be working on one of a kind software application providing quick access to realistic, interactive and easy-to-use 3D hybrid data in a web browser from any device for all project collaborators.

Responsibilities:

• Be technical lead for the respective Team competencies in scope, being recognized as a reference in the technical field;

• Set an updated vision of the needs, aligned with Technical Direction, defining development best practices, code review and checklists, ensure knowledge preservation, such as, appropriate documentation definition, knowledge sharing sessions, trainings for the new technologies;

• Make sure team members are capable to participate in new projects, setting improvement plans or learning new skills where needed;

• Lead technical assessment process for the competencies of the team, participating in interviews, train interviewers, improve evaluation process;

• Manage engineer’s tasks between projects;

• Define the right competences, define levels and certifications for each person

Your Profile

Requirements:

• Specific proven knowledge and experience in industrial development;
• Strong knowledge of C++ development and Object Oriented Programming;
• Knowledge of 3D visualization methods and algorithms;
• Experience with designing and implementing parallel and asynchronous computations
• Experience with MS Visual Studio, OpenGL and GLSL;
• Higher education in IT
• Advanced English

Desirable:

• Experience with Vulkan / Direct3D / Metal
• Cross-platform programming for Linux and Windows
• Experience with development of network (client-server) services and applications.
• Good knowledge in linear algebra and analytical geometry;
• Good knowledge of numerical algorithms;
