Senior Cloud Platform Engineer

Capgemini is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to join our team to work for a top 10 US Insurance Carrier.

Locations: Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, or Mexico.

As a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure solutions for our clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of cloud-based projects, leveraging your expertise in infrastructure architecture, automation, and security. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in cloud computing technologies, as well as deep knowledge of infrastructure-as-code frameworks and CI/CD pipelines. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deploy cloud infrastructure solutions based on client requirements.
• Automate and manage cloud infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code frameworks.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for efficient and scalable cloud deployments.
• Maintain cloud infrastructure, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Collaborate with security teams to ensure cloud infrastructure is secure and compliant with industry standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud platform engineering or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing technologies, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code frameworks, such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages like Python or PowerShell.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and related tools, such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
• Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols, including VPCs, subnets, and security groups.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
