Team Function
The new data platforms team will be our centralized shared services team supporting all data platforms such as Snowflake and Cognos. They will be responsible for the strategy and implementation of these platforms as well as best practices for the BU.
Role Description
The Data Platform Product Manager will lead the data platforms team and own strategy and delivery (including reporting) on the data platforms: Snowflake, Informatica, SAS, and Cognos (along with a few others). They will need to be proactive, own vendor relationships, and recommend strategic steps forward with these tools.
Key responsibilities
•Maximizes the delivery of value to customers in the shortest sustainable lead time.
•Identifies business and customer needs, prioritizing program level work and guiding this work through the process SCRUM.
•Independently develops the vision and roadmap for the value stream in which they support and provides direction and support for other value streams while accomplishing a higher volume of work.
•Continuously defines, prioritizes, and validates requirements.
•Leads and collaborates cross-functionally while leveraging industry, customer, and competitive research, along with data analytics to deliver customer value and to achieve strategic goals and objectives.
•Provides strategic oversight and leadership to direct reports and is relied upon for strategic leadership within their business unit and across the enterprise
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in a similar role
- BS in Computer Science or similar
- Fluency in English
- Product and Project Manager Exp, old migration technologies (PLUS)
- SAFe Certification (PLUS)
- Business Mindset, Contract Negotiation, Updates
