About Campus

Campus is on a mission to accelerate the talent of tomorrow and reimagine what college can (and should) be. The problem is clear: college costs have skyrocketed, but outcomes haven’t. Traditional college hasn’t kept up with the aspirations of today’s students—and they can’t afford to wait.

At Campus, we’ve built a two-year, accredited college where students learn from top professors at universities like Princeton, Stanford, and Howard, in live, online classes. Our students graduate with in-demand business and AI skills—ready to launch their careers or transfer to top four-year universities. Our unique approach is grounded in a pioneering technology platform and a heavily-researched student success model that offers students dedicated advisors and on-demand tutoring and coaching. We were also named one of Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies of 2024.

We’re backed by an exceptional investor team that believes deeply in our vision for the future of education, including General Catalyst, Founders Fund, Bloomberg Beta, 8VC, Rethink Education, Sam Altman, Jason Citron, Shaquille O’Neal, and others.

The world has changed. Higher ed needs to catch up, and we’re leading the way - come join us!

About the Role

Campus is seeking a founding faculty member to co-develop and teach Vibe Coding 101, the first course in a new certificate and degree pathway focused on AI-native software development. This individual will play a critical role in launching a first-of-its-kind program in partnership with Replit and other leading industry partners.

This is a contract role through Fall 2025 to support curriculum development and course launch, with the opportunity to transition into a long-term part-time teaching role, and ultimately help shape a full associate degree program in AI-powered software development.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about the future of programming, thrives at the intersection of computer science and AI, and is excited to build for a non-traditional student audience.

This is a project-based contract role until launch, that will become a PT hourly role post-launch. You will report to the VP of Academic Operations.

  • Participate in program strategy conversations as the foundation for a broader degree pathway

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. Master’s or Above Preferred
  • Teaching experience at a leading university or bootcamp
  • Experience using or teaching AI tools in software development (e.g., Replit, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT)
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals and ability to design beginner-friendly learning experiences
  • Excitement about working with non-traditional learners and career changers

Nice to Have

  • Graduate degree in CS, Engineering, or Education
  • Experience at a top-tier academic institution or a cutting-edge bootcamp
  • Background in curriculum development or project-based pedagogy

  • Have a deep understanding of modern software development workflows
  • Have the ability to translate technical concepts into simple, engaging instruction
  • Are a collaborative team player open to feedback and co-creation
  • Are committed to equity, access, and the future of workforce-aligned education

Compensation

  • $2,000 stipend for course design and curriculum development (contract basis)

A community college focused on maximizing access to world-class education.

Vision

We’re inspired by the efforts of those seeking to increase completion rates for community college students. We find the CUNY ASAP program and its efforts to address how systemic barriers and unique personal responsibilities may hinder many students completing their degree especially compelling.

At Campus, we envision a space where students’ multitude of needs are met so that they may find their own success within any higher education program they take on.

Great professors: Faculty in the Campus Scholars programs are empathetic and enthusiastic instructors who also have experience teaching at top colleges and universities.

Live classes: Students receive personal attention from professors and TAs during live classes and office hours. These connections and the ability to build relationships with their peers are key elements of our approach.

Personal support coach: Students are matched with a personal support coach who will serve as their advisor and confidant from day one through graduation. They can meet with their coach 1:1 to set and conquer their personal and professional goals.

Tuition capped at Pell Grant maximum amount: Because tuition for all Campus Scholars programs is set at $7,200 per academic year, the majority of Campus Scholars are able to attend with no out-of-pocket tuition costs.

All tech needs covered: In an online learning environment, students need access to a high-quality laptop and convenient access to high speed WiFi — we ensure our students have both.

Unlimited math and writing tutoring: Because of the pivotal role these two subjects play in determining a student’s success in college, we ensure that Campus students have 24/7 access to tutoring in these areas at no additional cost.

Many have tried to make big impact in this space and we are inspired by their efforts. We believe that if we can do the above, consistently and at scale, we will be able to massively increase class mobility in our country.
