The Opportunity:

CACI is looking for a Technical Writer to support our DoD customer to implement an enterprise IT service delivery model that provides consistent, secure, high-quality, and cost-effective services to enable mission success and improve end user experience across the customer environment.

On this program, CACI will deliver enhanced capabilities and services to implement and operate an enterprise ITSM solution, enterprise service desk, mobile solutions, endpoint management and security solution, as well as CONUS/OCONUS field support and life cycle support for end user devices to enable the DoD customer to transition focus from IT operations to mission operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate content for technical documentation and review content for spelling, grammar, and style.
  • Review content of technical documentation for quality.
  • Produces technical and scientific illustrations for presentations and/or publication, as appropriate to the requirements.
  • Ensures that documents follow the style laid out in the style guide.
  • Creates documents for publication both within the organization and externally using input provided by team members, stakeholders, research sources, and other content providers.
  • Writes a variety of technical articles, reports, brochures, and/or manuals for documentation for a wide range of uses.
  • Integrates graphics, text, and other media to create presentations and publications.
  • Coordinates the production.
  • Proofreads and edits correspondence, documents, memoranda, presentations, and other publication materials to ensure they conform to DoD standards for spelling, grammar, and style.
  • Assists content providers in identifying the appropriate medium and format for presentations and publications.
  • Ensures content is of high quality and conforms to standards.


Qualifications:

Required:

  • 10+ Years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field may be substituted for 5 years of experience).
  • DoD 8140 certification (ex: Security+)
  • Experience working in an IT environment.
  • A proven ability to digest complex information into clear and concise text.
  • Excellent writing and grammar skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Prior experience in technical writing.
  • ServiceNow & SharePoint experience.
  • Strong working knowledge or experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • An active DoD Secret clearance.

Desired:

  • Ability to work independently to create, track, and report on status of multiple projects/documents/assignments.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with PowerApps.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and effective professional correspondence.

Pay Range:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$61,600-$129,300
