Job Description: As a Product Manager at BuzzBoard, you will be an integral part of our innovative product team, contributing to the development and support of our core applications utilized by hundreds of users. This is an exciting opportunity to own and drive the evolution of one or more product lines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Ownership: Take full ownership of one or more product lines, ensuring they meet user needs and business goals.
  • Roadmap and Milestones: Develop and maintain product roadmaps and milestones. Collaborate with your team to estimate, implement, and prioritize features, ensuring the highest impact initiatives are addressed.
  • User-Centric Development: Deeply understand user needs, map user journeys, and build solutions that address pain points. Define features, write specifications and user stories, create wireframes and prototypes, and manage release checklists and communications.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, UI/UX design, operations, business, and other cross-functional teams to manage daily workflows and ensure seamless product development.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between your team and Business, Engineering, and Marketing leadership, effectively communicating product functionality and incorporating feedback.
  • GenAI and ML Integration: Leverage Generative AI and Machine Learning technologies to enhance product features and functionality. Collaborate with data science teams to integrate AI-driven insights into the product.
  • Agile Environment: Thrive in an agile environment by continuously iterating, optimizing, and ideating based on user feedback and market trends.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Utilize product analytics tools, user behavior analytics, and reporting tools to drive data-informed decisions and optimizations.
  • Timely Delivery: Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality, well-crafted products that delight our users.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 4+ years of product management experience, ideally in B2B SaaS.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field is preferred.
  • GenAI and ML Proficiency: Experience with Generative AI and Machine Learning applications is crucial for success in this role.
  • Cross-Functional Influence: Demonstrated ability to engage and influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Business Case Development: Experience in building and promoting business cases to drive product development.
  • Agile Methodologies: Proficiency in iterative software delivery methodologies.
  • Product Shipping: Proven track record of shipping and managing products with cross-functional teams.
  • Global Collaboration: Experience working with US customers and vendors on technology and product-based partnerships is preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical details to non-technical audiences and drive decision-making.
  • Customer Listening and Ideation: Skilled in listening to customer feedback, ideating solutions, and optimizing products based on user needs and market trends.
  • Analytics Proficiency: Experience with GenAI/ML products, product analytics tools, user behavior analytics, and reporting tools is a definite plus.
  • Initiative and Energy: High energy, self-starter with a passion for learning new technologies.
  • Startup Experience: Previous experience in a startup environment is a plus.
