Job Description for Marketing Assistant

We're looking for someone who is aligned with our vision, and creativity is very important, and execution, learning and listening is paramount. We are looking for a team member for our business that has ingenuity, is a self-starter, and who has competence and wants to exceed.

Scope:
  • Manage and optimize the company’s online store to increase sales and improve user experience
  • Develop and execute email marketing strategies to grow the subscriber base and increase engagement
  • Assist in social media management and content creation to boost brand awareness and drive traffic
  • Implement lead-generation tactics through landing pages and pop-ups
  • Provide support for marketing administrative tasks as needed

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in managing and optimizing the company’s Shopify store
  • Send out monthly newsletters using email marketing platforms
  • Implement email campaigns to grow and monetize the subscriber list
  • Update and maintain the Shopify theme as needed
  • Assist in creating social media management; posting provided content
  • Manage the backend of social media accounts, including link management
  • Set up and manage landing pages and pop-ups for lead generation
  • Provide general virtual assistance for daily tasks as needed
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Canva, Shopify, and Klaviyo
  • Experience with email marketing and newsletters
  • Knowledge of social media management and content creation
  • Familiarity with e-commerce best practices
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
