About Us:
We’re converting a high-volume Shopify cannabis storefront into polished native apps for iOS and Android. The project blends a real-time AI “budtender” chat, multi-store inventory (via Greenline), and strict age-gated compliance—all wrapped in a seamless mobile experience. Key Outcomes (★= launch-critical)
- ★Ship production-ready React Native apps to App Store & Google Play.
- ★Mirror our web brand while delivering true-native UI/UX.
- ★Integrate Shopify Storefront, Firebase Functions, and Greenline inventory.
- ★Embed an AI chat with streaming responses & vector search.
- ★Implement store selector, geolocation, and province-based rules.
- Age verification flow and provincial compliance screens.
- Offline browsing/cart; push notifications for orders & promos.
- Optimize animations, load time, memory use.
- Instrument analytics, crash/perform-tracking, and act on insights.
- Participate in peer reviews, design sessions, and effort estimates.

Requirements
Must-Have Skills:- 3 + years React Native (live apps on both stores).
- Expert TypeScript and modern ES6+.
- State management (Redux, MobX, or Context).
- REST / GraphQL API integration at scale.
- Performance tuning: lazy loading, caching, memory profiling.
- Native-module work (iOS / Android).
- Deep linking & complex navigation stacks.
- Automated testing (Jest, RN Testing Library).
- GitHub-based workflow and CI/CD familiarity.
Preferred / Bonus:
- Shopify Storefront API or other headless commerce.
- Firebase suite (Auth, Firestore, Functions, Analytics).
- Expo EAS or Codemagic CI pipelines.
- Reanimated, Lottie, Framer Motion.
- Payments (Apple / Google Pay, Stripe).
- Cannabis, age-restricted, or regulated-industry experience.
Soft Skills:
Self-driven, detail-oriented problem-solver who communicates crisply in a distributed, agile team and champions excellent user experience.
