Job Summary:
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving growth, expanding client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities within the real estate sector. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong networking and sales skills to generate leads, close deals, and foster long-term partnerships.Key Responsibilities:
Daily Tasks:
- Monitor and manage emails related to business inquiries and client communications.
- Review and respond to outreach responses to maintain engagement and build relationships.
- Conduct LinkedIn lead sweeps to identify potential clients and opportunities.
- Perform market research to identify new business opportunities and trends.
- Develop and execute strategic outreach initiatives to attract potential partners.
- Track and update delisted units for record-keeping and follow-up purposes.
- Perform building outreach to strengthen real estate connections.
- Update the response rate tracker to monitor and optimize outreach performance.
- Send follow-up emails to clients and prospects.
- Tag contacts in HubSpot for better segmentation and tracking.
Weekly Tasks:
- Update business development strategies and review progress.
- Generate and submit the weekly outreach report.
- Confirm appointments for the upcoming week to ensure smooth scheduling.
Monthly Tasks:
- Update and maintain an accurate broker list.
- Review and update outreach templates as needed.
- Prepare and submit the monthly business development report.
- Compile and review the expense report for financial tracking.
- Update the profit and loss statement to reflect monthly financial activity.
Requirements
- Expertise in CRM platforms such as HubSpot and Follow Up Boss (FUB).
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or real estate preferred.
- Strong networking, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Familiarity with real estate platforms such as StreetEasy and LinkedIn.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify growth opportunities.
- Knowledge of financial tracking and QuickBooks is a plus.
