We are seeking a Design Coordinator to support projects in our California-Desert Business Unit. The role involves performing routine technical and administrative support tasks as directed, working within clearly defined guidelines.
Requirements
- Provide basic technical and administrative support to the design team as directed.
- Assist in maintaining master lists and logs during design and construction.
- Participate in specification development using Specification Development Platform (SpecLink).
- Coordinate design deliverable content and support design deliverables production.
- Assist in developing design work breakdown structure and schedule.
- Help prepare and implement project and quality management plans, documentation and health and safety plans.
- Help coordinate and document QA/QC activities.
- Support the maintenance of project collaboration sites.
- Provide support for Design Manager (DM) with Subject Matter Expert (SME) engagement for QC and scope, schedule and budget, development.
- Flexibility to adapt and execute various additional assignments based on evolving needs.
- May assist with subconsultants/teaming partner coordination.
- May coordinate design team meetings, communications and presentation materials.
- Understand client and other external stakeholder’s project standard
