BBNC is an Indigenous-owned corporation driven by millennia-old values of mutual support, and a responsibility to the next seven generations. For more than 50 years, BBNC has been championing people and communities across the Bristol Bay region. Today, we operate a diverse portfolio of companies spanning seafood, construction, government services, and financial investments.

As one of thirteen Alaska Native Regional Corporations created under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act of 1971, BBNC received title to more than three million subsurface acres and more than 115,000 surface acres of pristine land in Alaska. Our business started with a focus on fishing that grew out of the natural bounty of our waters and our people's long history with subsistence living. It has since expanded and diversified dramatically, widening our capabilities to include services in several sectors in locations around the globe.

Our mission is to enrich our Native way of life through economic development, employment and educational opportunities, and responsible resource management. With more than 11,000 shareholders, we provide job training, scholarships, and programs focused on youth, leadership development, cultural heritage, and more. We operate businesses in every state in the U.S. and across the globe in 11 foreign countries, with total revenues exceeding $3 billion.
