This is a remote role in the United States.

The Applications Support Administrator role is chiefly focused on supporting application access requests. The individual will manage a support desk ticketing system and will ensure that outstanding customer service and accurate, complete information is provided to end users that report issues or request assistance with their access. The individual will ensure that support SLAs are met, and that correct escalation paths are followed in the troubleshooting and resolution of all access issues.

EssentialFunctions/Responsibilities

  • User Account Management: Create, modify, and disable user accounts in various systems and applications

  • Assign Training: Assign user training and ensure proper training completion

  • Access Control: Ensure that users have the appropriate level of access to the systems and data based on their roles and responsibilities

  • Monitoring and Auditing: Assist Application Audit Senior Specialist with audit user access inquiries

  • User Support: Assist users with access related issues

  • Compliance: Ensure that access management practices comply with organization level access standards

  • Follow-up on open tickets to meet SLAs, user needs, and to ensure high level of responsiveness/customer service

  • Perform and document results of user acceptance testing in advance of software releases

Minimum Requirements:

  • Associate Degree, 3 years of experience would be considered in lieu of applicable degree

  • 1 year experience in customer service or a IT support/help desk role

  • Ability to utilize ITSM tools (ticketing application)

  • Strong computer skills which include a proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio and Access. The individual must be able to easily adapt to new systems/software/programs and have a track record of working with Proprietary Management Information Systems.

Preferred qualifications/skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 3 years experience in customer service or a IT support/help desk role

  • The individual must have excellent written/oral communication and interpersonal skills, a strong customer service philosophy, impeccable organization, attention to detail and follow-up skills.

  • The ability to work on cross-functional teams and prioritize work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment will be essential as this position requires someone who, thrives in a team environment as well as in an individual setting; and functions effectively under pressure.

  • Must be self-starter with high degree of initiative, organized, able to multi-task, and meet deadlines

Salary and Other Compensation Disclosures

The annual starting hourly rate for this position is between $23-$24/hr. The pay range listed here is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.

Also, depending on hire date and subject to applicable eligibility requirements and accrual schedules, new employees in this role receive up to: 9 paid holidays annually; 40 hours of sick time per year based on full-time schedule, and 64 hours of vacation time per year
