Brent Council

The story of Brent Council is deeply intertwined with the administrative evolution of London itself. The Act led to the creation of Greater London and its 32 London boroughs, which officially came into existence on April 1, 1965. The London Borough of Brent was forged from the amalgamation of two former Middlesex boroughs: the Municipal Borough of Wembley and the Municipal Borough of Willesden.
