Backend Engineer with Machine Learning - Direct Recruitment | BYT

BYT is a spinoff of Boost IT that aims to use all the knowledge and experience created over 4 years, with a management team that has more than 15 years of experience.

Created in December 2021, after 4 years of delivering the specialized recruitment service with great success under Boost IT name.

During these 4 years we carried out more than 400 specialized recruitment processes for 20 different clients, both in Portugal and Internationally.

The success of the direct recruitment business area within Boost IT was so successful that we decided, in 2021, to create BYT.

• Function: Backend Enginner
• Location: Portugal and Brazil
• Type of work: Full Remote
• Project: Backend Development for a Machine Learning and AI Software Project in the Retail Sector

Tasks

• Backend developement using Python and Django
• Design and definition of the Software Architecture
• Infrastructure Planning
• Maintenance, debugging and resolutions of issues.
• Code Review

Requirements

• +5 years of experience in Python Development and using various frameworks like Django and Numpy
• +5 years of experience in using Django
• Experience in RESTful API Design and Implementation
• Experience in good practices like Unit Testing and CI/CD Pipelines
• +5 years in using SQL Databases and tools (E.g: PostgreSQL and MysQL, Schema Design, SQL-Query, etc)

Good to have:

• Experience in C/C++
• Experience in Machine Learning and integrating solutions based in PyTorch, TensorFlow and ONNX
• Experience in AWS Services
• Experience in Docker
• Experience in OpenCV
