Bitsight is a multinational company that, due to its business growth, is searching for a Senior Director of People Strategy to join the EMEA’s executive leadership team and enable the business in both an operationally sound and strategic way.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will have had significant experience participating as a leader in a high-growth technology company. The Senior Director, People Strategy will have a strong knowledge of all components of the HR function and be able to transform the business objectives into HR initiatives. They will possess strong cross functional collaboration and communication skills and be able to be the face of the region to employees. The ideal candidate has a “hands-on” perspective and is passionate about ensuring all HR operations are accurate and efficient through planning and developing strategic initiatives.

The Senior Director People Strategy, will grow, develop and lead the HRBP and Operation teams in EMEA and APAC that are ultimately responsible for coaching and partnering with our business leaders. This role is unique in the sense that you’ll be responsible for driving decisions on organization design, compensation, employee development, and much more.

This candidate will learn the business and culture inside and out so that they are able to provide strategic HR partnership to the business leaders to enhance the growth and impact of those teams to the business. In this role, leading, demonstrating, redefining and modeling BitSight’s culture is a top priority.

Responsibilities

  • Spend time understanding the unique employee populations within BitSight on an international basis.

  • Translate and implement BitSight’s policies and human capital practices at a local level.

  • Collaborate and provide counsel regarding compensation, job descriptions, salary adjustments, promotions, and performance improvement plans.

  • Become a trusted advisor and respected thought partner to the leadership team on all people and organizational issues. Earn trust through proactive strategic thinking and successful execution.

  • Successfully lead and manage a team of HR professionals in remote locations.

  • Drive initiatives to continuously monitor and improve employee engagement (i.e. solicit frequent and measurable feedback, and provide outlets for internal employee interactions) and provide management with recommendations for improvement

  • Administer compensation plans and policies including equity, benefits programs, and total compensation statements in locations such as France, Germany, Netherlands, UK, Portugal, Israel, Australia and Singapore

The ideal candidate profile:

  • A strong, progressive human resources executive with experience in an internationally scaling business.

  • Well-developed coaching, communication, and leadership skills and should provide an example of excellence to all that they interact with.

  • Successfully coached and influenced individual contributors and managers is a must for this position.

  • 8+ years’ experience in a multinational fast-paced work environment;

  • Excellent English skills in both verbal as written;

  • High energy, proactive, flexible and independent;

  • Capacity to adapt to different and constantly changing environments;

  • Communicate proactively:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to present, and influence others in difficult situations;

  • Strong organizational skills, teamwork spirit and service oriented

  • Multicultural sensitivity;

  • Excellent understanding of EMEA and APAC labor laws as they relate to hiring/terminations/general employment and payroll;

  • Availability to travel across EMEA and APAC
