The BILL Summer Intern Program is full of fantastic opportunities to immerse yourself in our #incrediBILL culture and live our company values during your 11-week, paid experience. During your internship, you’ll own comprehensive projects that have real impacts on small-to-medium sized businesses, our products, and our employees, and you’ll be provided many mentorship and development opportunities along the way to foster a shared passion for SMBs. You’ll engage with leaders through our executive speaker series, and be immersed in our Employee Resource Group initiatives and events so you can get a feel of what matters most here at BILL. No matter which of our offices you’re based out of - San Jose, Houston, or Draper - you’ll experience our Fun value firsthand with Intern Nights Out and group events, and countless other chances to connect with your fellow interns. We’d love to chat if you have:
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in machine learning, such as Python
- Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries, including TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost, or scikit-learn
- Experience with data wrangling tools such as SQL and Pandas
- Strong problem-solving skills in the context of designing and implementing machine learning models
- Familiar with the latest developments in machine learning and artificial intelligence
- An analytical mindset with a focus on creating solutions that align with business objectives and end-user needs
Requirements:
- Must be currently enrolled at an accredited university in the US
Graduating with a PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field between December 2026 and July 2027

Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above. The role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, flexible spending & health savings account, paid holidays, paid time off, and other company benefits.
