Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY:

Our client is looking for a fully-remote, experienced Data Engineer who has experience with the Databricks platform. This position will start out as 6 months and may be extended based on budget and performance. PST time zone required.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Develop and enhance AI/BI dashboards using Databricks
• Design and implement data visualization solutions to support BI reporting
• Prepare basic data engineering tasks, including creating, updating and maintaining data pipelines
• Optimize existing ETL processess for efficiency and scalability
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity
• Provide documentation and knowledge transfer sessions for developed solutions
• Provide weekly status updates, create clear SOPs and documentation for implemented dashboard solutions
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5yrs of experience with AI/BI dashboards using Databricks
• Experience with SQL, Python and Spark for data engineering tasks
• Knowledge of data pipeline creation and maintenance
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross functional teams
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Project Management tool knowledge, Jira, Confluence, slack

• Occasional infrequent in person activity may be required

• A competitive pay range of $34/HR-37/HR (depending on experience).
