Software Engineering Intern

Role Description

Beno Technologies is seeking interns to join our team in working on experimentation and exploration projects. Experimentation is a crucial component of our engineering culture, as it helps us push the boundaries of what is possible. Your contributions will enable the Beno Engineering team to select the most effective tools and technologies, ultimately improving our efficiency and product competitiveness.

We are constantly searching for recent software graduates or practitioners with a strong sense of curiosity and the ability to explore new tools, technologies, or libraries in both commercial and open-source software. Our engineers will provide you with the necessary training and support to ensure the project's success.

You will work closely with our senior software engineers in Dubai or the surrounding region, who will offer the support necessary for your success. Our internship will be fully remote. If your university requires in-person attendance, we can accommodate this (subject to availability).

Who We're Looking For

We seek candidates who thrive on solving technical challenges and are passionate about hands-on work. If you are someone who leads your team in university or bootcamp projects, you've found the right opportunity.

As an intern, we expect you to possess a solid foundation in computer science, with a strong emphasis on experimentation. Other skills are considered a bonus. We will tailor the internship project to match your abilities, so we welcome a wide range of skills. Useful knowledge includes any combination of the following domains: app development (web, mobile, or CLI), analytics, machine learning (ML), and artificial intelligence (AI).

In addition to technical skills, ideal candidates should exhibit a high level of self-organization and be receptive to suggestions and guidance from the team. You should be a quick learner, driven by curiosity to explore new ideas. At the conclusion of the internship, you will be asked to document and present your work, making strong writing and presentation skills invaluable.

Our internship program offers short (5 to 6 weeks) internships, but we are open to extending them.
