Position Summary:
The Director, GVAP Hematology, is a strategic leader responsible for developing and executing global market access and pricing strategies for assigned hematology assets. The initial focus of this role will be on Brukinsa, BeOne’s lead asset; however, the scope may be revised at the direction of the Executive Director, GVAP Portfolio Hematology, to address evolving portfolio needs. While the initial remit is Brukinsa, the role may eventually span both pipeline and inline products, as well as additional assets, depending on organizational priorities. A key remit of this role may also include representing GVAP on a Global Product Team (GPT). This position is open to US-based candidates only.
Position location is US Remote, with East Coast (EST) time zone heavily preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Access & Pricing Strategy:
- Create and implement global market access strategies for pipeline hematology assets.
- Identify evidentiary gaps in clinical development for optimal reimbursement and pricing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence trial design and evidence
Inline Asset Strategy:
- Prepare for market access and pricing of inline assets, including new indications and extensions.
- Develop comprehensive market access strategies in conjunction with Pricing and HEOR teams.
- Serve as the primary contact for Regional and Country Access Teams on access-related inquiries.
Cross-Functional Leadership:
- Work with Clinical, Medical Affairs, HEOR, and Commercial teams to align development and commercialization plans with payer needs.
- Support business development activities and portfolio prioritization as needed.
Market Insights & Competitive Analysis:
- Monitor competitor activities and payer requirements to refine access strategies.
- Analyze pricing trends and market conditions to inform strategy adjustments.
Key Success Metrics:
- Timely closure of access-related evidence gaps.
- Successful implementation of global access strategies.
- Payer acceptance of value propositions.
- Effective collaboration with regional teams.
Essential Functions:
- Lead global market access strategies for pipeline and inline hematology products, ensuring alignment with clinical and commercial objectives.
- Develop early value propositions and evidence-generation strategies with Clinical and HEOR teams to support access decisions.
- Drive launch readiness and develop value toolkits in collaboration with HEOR, including health economic models and payer engagement materials.
- Manage market access strategies for existing products, incorporating payer feedback and competitive dynamics.
- Serve as a point of contact for market access on Global Product Teams (GPT).
REquired Education:
- BA/BS Required; MA/MS preferred.
Required Qualifications:
- BA/BS with 10 + years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with at least 5 years in market access or HEOR.
- Experience in HTA markets and a deep understanding of the U.S. managed care environment.
- Proven experience in product launches and the global pricing and reimbursement landscape.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate across cultures and functions.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
Travel:
- 15% of the time.
